How do I record my voice?

Simply tap the "Record" button on the main screen and speak into your device. Tap "Stop" when you're finished. Your recording will automatically have the vintage radio effects applied.

Where are my recordings saved?

All recordings are saved locally on your device in the app's secure storage. They never leave your device and are not uploaded to any cloud service. Your recordings are completely private.

How do I delete a recording?

In the saved recordings list, tap the "Delete" button next to any recording you want to remove. This will permanently delete the recording from your device.

Can I share my recordings?

Yes! You can share your recordings using your device's native share functionality. Your recordings are standard audio files that can be shared via messaging apps, social media, or any other sharing method.

What makes the Radio Demon effect authentic?

Radio Demon uses a sophisticated multi-stage audio processing chain that includes high-pass and low-pass filtering, vintage tube saturation, EQ sculpting, and professional compression to recreate the authentic sound of 1930s-1940s radio broadcasts.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! Radio Demon works completely offline. All audio processing happens locally on your device. You don't need an internet connection to record, play, or save recordings.

Why isn't my microphone working?

Make sure you've granted microphone permissions to Radio Demon. You can check this in your device settings under "Privacy & Security" → "Microphone" (iOS) or "App Permissions" → "Microphone" (Android). If permissions are granted and it still doesn't work, try restarting the app.

Is there a recording time limit?

Radio Demon allows recordings of reasonable length. Very long recordings may be limited by your device's available storage space.

Are there any in-app purchases or subscriptions?

No! Radio Demon is a one-time purchase with no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads. You pay once and own it forever with all features included.

What if I accidentally delete a recording?

Unfortunately, deleted recordings cannot be recovered. Make sure to back up important recordings by sharing them to another location (like your device's photo library or cloud storage) before deleting them from the app.

App crashes when recording

• Check that your device has available storage space
• Try restarting the app
• Make sure you're running the latest version of the app
• Restart your device if issues persist

Audio quality is poor

• Speak closer to your device's microphone
• Record in a quiet environment
• Make sure nothing is blocking your device's microphone

Effects sound wrong or distorted

The vintage radio effect is designed to sound "tinny" and filtered - this is intentional! However, if the audio is cutting out or severely distorted, try recording at a lower volume or moving further from the microphone.

Can't find saved recordings

Saved recordings appear in a list on the main screen. Scroll through the list to find all your saved recordings. If the list is empty, you haven't saved any recordings yet - use the "Save" button after recording to add recordings to the list.
